A great alternative to internal trigger/mesh head combination which can be bouncy, prone to tears in the mesh and may require drilling holes in your kick drum. Simply replace the batter head with the KTS-22 and plug it in and you are up and running.
New version Multi-Layer layer construction with mesh surface. Kick pad striking surface diameter is 5-3/4” which will accommodate single or double pedal. Recommended that you use rubber or plastic side of beater. Slam patch included
** please note that the maximum outside diameter of your drum should not exceed 22 1/16”. Will not fit if your drum is larger.
Works with any module that uses a 1/4” cable including all Roland, ATV, Alesis, Efnote, HXM, Millenium, Pearl Mimic, Donner, and Lemon modules. Also compatible with VST Software.

Really well designed, and super responsive. That said you MUST pad the snot out of this thing to get it to work well. Seriously FILL your bass drum with pillows and you'll be fine.
I bought one of these to convert my old acoustic 22" Rogers bass drum to electronic. installation is as easy as changing a drum head and it worked with my Roland module out of the box, no adjustments needed on my module. The look of the acoustic drum with the flexibility of an electronic kit is fantastic on stage and it plays great. Maybe a little bouncier than the KD-10 I was playing on previously, but it was easy to adjust. Highly recommend.
This head works brilliantly! Although it’s a tad under sized. Very satisfied.
100% compatible with my roland module and added a really cool look to my kit! 10/10 would recommend.
