Not all rubber drum rim protectors are created equal. Many fall apart quickly, are too flexible and don’t stay on, are too thick and don’t allow you to tighten the tuning bolts without taking them off and some aren’t even a full connected ring.
This durable slimline version allows you access to your tensioning rods. Works with any bolt pattern. Fits most 12” electronic and acoustic drums. Shown on a rim and drum (neither included) rubber rim protector only.

Great addition to my new electric Snare.
Worked well.....initially my Roland HR triggers were not fully engaged as they are pressing into the rubber rim. However, I made it work. If prob persists (and it really hasn't) then I will make a one inch cut in the rubber rim to accommodate the trigger. These rubber rims were what I needed as sometimes my aim is not 100 percent accurate.

This is the 3rd hoop guard I’ve purchased from Dolby. They all are a perfect fit!
Works great and made the rim clicks better. A slightly different thiness than the thicker PD-125 rim but works even better! This guy’s stuff is amazing and he even helped me fix some drum settings that stopped me from buying a new one from him.
